Yordan Alvarez. He came into today's game with 3 home runs in 2 games. At a certain point you have to pull your head out of your ass and say "yeah let's just walk this guy every at bat". I actually kind of respect the Twins commitment to not giving a shit and still pitching to him even though they know he has a better chance of hitting a moonshot off them than doing anything else.

Yeah. No shit. I mean I guess I understand pitching to him here. The game is already over, may as well let him pad his stats. It's like leaving Brady in for one last drive when it's 27-0 in the 4th quarter. What's another passing TD at that point?
