The Bears Just Put on a Masterclass in How to Have a Bad Week

The Chicago Bears just wrapped up one of the worst weeks for an NFL team in recent history. To try to put this into normal person terms, the week the Bears just had would be like sleeping through your alarm, spilling your coffee all over you on your way to work, your boss yelling at you as soon as you step through the door, and so on. Think of the worst day at work you could have and that is what this week was like for the Bears. There is not an organization in the world that is more down bad than the Bears. Early last week, the Bears were coming off a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when Justin Fields took to the mic and said this.
While it is probably true that Justin is getting little to no help from his coaches, throwing em under the bus to start off the new week was certainly something. Look, I don't blame the guy. People were throwing his name into the MVP conversation in August. Fast forward to September and he looks like he has never played football before. Turns out, this would be the least of the concerns for the Bears organization. Later that same day rumors started circulating about Bears defensive coordinator Alan Williams and while we still do not have clarity on what really was going on, the initial rumors were downright wild. Some accounts on twitter were saying the FBI raided Halas Hall and Alan Williams house. I am very dumb but I am smart enough to know that I don't want the FBI involved with me, my life, or my teams.
No less than 48 hours later we find out that 100K worth of football equipment was stolen from Soldier Field which is where the Bears play. If I was mean I would make a joke about the security at Solider Field being as bad as the Bears defense but I won't. I would....but I won't.
Let's recap things. You have your QB throwing your coaching staff under the bus, insane rumors circulating about your DC who goes on to resign, and $100K of equipment stolen from your stadium. Hot start to the week. To make matters worse, the Bears played the Chiefs yesterday and while the Chiefs have not looked good to start the season, we all know what they are capable of. The Bears ended up losing 41-10 and as if that wasn't enough, they had Taylor Swift dancing on their grave as her new boyfriend(?) scored a TD.
I would like to say this is as bad as it will get for the Bears and their fanbase but at this point, I don't think it's outside the realm of possibilities for it to get worse. Listen, let this serve as a reminder, no matter how bad it gets for you and the teams you root for, it can probably always get worse.
