If you don't know, Major League Baseball legend Miguel Cabrera is on a farewell tour as he plays his last games in the MLB. Each team has done something special to honor him. For example, the Angels got him a surfboard with a list of his accomplishments on it.

The Dodgers gave him his own Hollywood star.

Well, as the Tigers California road trip continued, they made their way up to Oakland last night and as expected, the A's honored Miggy as well. Except to no one's surprise, the A's found a way to mess this one up too.

Look, the A's have a lot of issues. Among them, refusing to spend money and thus not building out a competent MLB roster, the stadium saga, and fans rightfully giving up on the organization. But this may just be the icing on the cake. A $80 bottle of wine as the farewell gift to Miguel Cabrera. The A's are the gift that keeps on giving, in more ways than one.
